"Sylvia Gandara was the buyer's agent, and we were selling FSBO. We decided to work only with Sylvia, rather than getting our own agent, in part because we trusted her record and reputation as a leading local realtor, and in part for the convenience and efficiency of working with a single agent. We couldn't be happier with Sylvia's performance. Sylvia provided exceptional service, well beyond any reasonable expectations. She was always available any time night or day (or so it seemed), weekday or weekend. She helped us out in any way she could, which included even visiting our home to let our dogs out into the yard when I was unexpectedly held up for a whole day at a government office. She paid for cleaning services for our home out of her own pocket (for reimbursement from escrow) when we were unable to clean our home completely before leaving the country. The saddest thing about our sale successfully closing is that we don't have a reason to work with Sylvia anymore. (And Sylvia wasn't even officially our agent, but the buyer's). By the end of the process it felt like she was a close family friend. I should add that Sylvia was patient, knowledgeable, excellent at explaining everything to us, and completely professional. After our experience, I would not consider using any other agent for any future real estate transaction in the area."
