Growing up within a family of seven and being spirited and energetic, I learned how to communicate with many different types of personalities and needs. Staying at home to raise two boys for nearly 17 years taught me a great deal of patience and understanding as well as how to be financially wise and comprehend what the word budget really means! Having been a renter as well as a home owner, I can empathize and appreciate both the joy and financial security that home ownership can bring. Volunteering extensively in both the Troutdale and Corbett communities has allowed me to fully understand what it means to be committed to a cause that I believe in with all my heart. It also taught me how to share my skills to help someone else. I love living in the Pacific Northwest and spending as much time as possible in the outdoors. When not hard at work, I enjoy running, hiking, reading and value time with family and friends. One of my greatest accomplishments in running was to complete the Portland Marathon without stopping, just prior to my 50th birthday. I like to hike at least once a month and enjoy finding a new trail wherever I travel. I have explored all over the Columbia River Gorge as well as Mt. Hood. Since childhood, I have been a voracious reader. Fortunately, I have had the opportunity to be a part of some amazing book groups over the years. I always look forward to starting a new book. Time is precious and the older I get the more I realize how important it is to schedule family gatherings and not let too much time pass between seeing each other. I also cherish the relationships I have had with a handful of friends for over 30 years. Working with RE/MAX has been such a blessing for me. I am able to grow my business in ways that fit right into my everyday lifestyle. Over the years I have become very familiar with the Portland Eastside and rural communities. David began his career in real estate in 2013 and Zach followed in 2018. As Father and Son, they form the Riener Team. During this time they have worked with people from North Portland to Albany and the Oregon Coast to Central Oregon. Giving back to the community is important to David and Zach. Through RE/MAX Equity Group they donate a portion of their commission to Children’s Miracle Network and the Equity Group Foundation. The local CMN beneficiary is Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland. They also enjoy being able to volunteer at their church and giving to various local community organizations and events. David serves on the Equity Group Foundation board as well. Each transaction in real estate differs as the people, properties, and the myriad of other factors are different every time. David and Zach enjoy getting to know buyers and sellers as they all learn together about each particular transaction.
