We started our relationship with Mark as sellers. He came to our home, took a tour, sat with us for two hours to discuss the pros and cons of the property, of the market and asked questions about what we were hoping to achieve in the transaction. He was honest, using his knowledge of the market, to help us determine a strategy for selling. He made himself available anytime we had questions and got back to us in a timely manner when we were unable to connect immediately. When we voiced concerns about the process, he provided feedback that eased those concerns, keeping us positive throughout the process. During the offer period, Mark was instrumental in navigating the process of determining viable offers and how to choose. Once that was complete, we focused on buying a property.
As a buyer agent, Mark asked critical questions to what our needs and wants were, leading him to provide us with properties to view that would meet or exceed our expectations. He did not waste our time by suggesting properties he knew we would not be interested in. This is one of his best attributes as we are all busy and do not need to spend time and effort needlessly.
For both the sale and purchase, Mark was instrumental is explaining the closing process, which we were not familiar with. While a times it seemed overwhelming - the paperwork, the terminology, the figures, time deadlines, etc - Mark was there to keep us on track.
