I was incredibly overwhelmed with the task of figuring out where to land after selling my NYC apartment. I needed an area that would allow for a new life, while still being commutable to NY all while being close enough to family and friends. Oh, and I should add that I had preconceived notions about what my life would look like in NJ before Mark showed me what each town had to offer (that’s not a dig to this lovely state, I’m just a born and bred NYer). Mark has the patience of a saint and that’s not even his best quality.
