David and Jodee Gill won us over from the start. They were very well prepared and discussed the process in detail (what to expect and how it would proceed). They put together all of this documentation, but when David sensed that my focus was beginning to shift from the prepared materials, he tailored his delivery to keep me focused on the topics at hand. They were very knowledgeable and patient answering the multitude of questions we had. They work together seamlessly and although either one is a top notch agent singularly, you really will not receive better service from anyone compared to your experience with them working in concert to sell your home. Jodee offered specific ideas to improve our home before selling, which were great—she definitely could be a prominent interior designer. More importantly, she coordinated all of the work we decided to do, and that was critical as we had moved shortly after meeting with them. David and Jodee also organized the cleaning service work and other housework that was completed in our absence. Once the work was all done, the house looked better than it ever had. To improve our chances of a quick sell, David and Jodee staged our house as part of the Gill selling experience at no cost (vs. hiring a separate group to come do it), and took fantastic pictures. The after pictures really highlighted the results of their vision (as well as the quality of all the contracted work done to our house). As predicted by them, we got multiple offers on our house for over our asking price on the first day of showing. We accepted one of those offers that weekend, and that was that. The other part to consider is that David made sure that we were up to date on all of our documents to sign so we didn’t have to worry about missing something. Jodee was in constant contact regarding all of the work being done, and they made sure we knew exactly where we were in the process, as promised on day one. My wife and I had a great experience selling our home with the help of David and his wife Jodee. David's information was provided to us through our relocation company along with a number of other realtors. From our initial meeting we felt that David was the right choice and did not regret our decision. David and his wife possess immense knowledge of the Columbus real estate market and were able to get us more for our house than what we expected. The first person to look at our house put in an offer over asking and we closed without any major issues at a time when other homes in our neighborhood were sitting for weeks.
