People always say buying a new home is one of the most stressful, terrifying experience we as adults go through. Kathleen debunked this myth whole heartedly. We had been casually looking for a new home for only a short time and spoken to agents I didn't feel comfortable with. High pressure and lack of understanding of our needs convinced me our journey was going to be the stereotypical saga everyone talks about. We saw an ad online that looked interesting and drove to the address just to check it out. From our first phone call Kathleen was not what we expected. She was very accommodating and responsive. We set a time to meet with her at the property later that day and she arrived on time gave us a well-informed tour of the house and grounds. But, due to the single car garage, we realized it would not work for us. Kathleen mentioned another property just down the street with a double garage, and as we walked the short distance explained what we were looking for, and why we were locked in with some pretty specific needs. She paid attention to us, was pleasant and very personable. Not stuffy or all sales oriented as our other contacts had been, and she knew the properties she was selling. Almost immediately we knew this was what we were looking for! After walking through the home, asking questions that were all answered confidently, we walked back up the street and told Kathleen, "We want this house!" Realizing the nightmare we were destined to go through, I prepared myself for the long, stress filled journey we just started. Three weeks later we Closed the sale! And for less than the asking price! Kathleen took all the stress out of buying a home. She took care of all the little details that can get overlooked, gave us options for financing and walked us through the process step by step.
