Christie took time to understand my goals, and needs before offering a solution. Too many realtors approach the relationship as a simple transaction, and fail to understand their client before they launch into a presentation describing how wonderful they are and how much they'll get for your home. I've had poor experiences with realtors in the past and dreaded this one. However, a friend recommended Christie and since I had to pick someone, I gave her a shot. It was a pleasant surprise to have her ask for my input instead of telling me what to think. She asked relevant questions, listened to my replies, and took notes. At the conclusion of our meeting, instead of pressing for a listing agreement, she asked for a day to consider how best to accomplish what I wanted, and promised to get back with me the next day. True to her word, she contacted me and came by to show me a significant amount of research regarding my geographic area, sales of comparable homes, recent and historical sales velocity, and her suggested sales strategy and projected time to sell. OK... color me impressed. I engaged her as my agent and 3-days later (yes three days) my home was sold within the exact price-range she had predicted, and I had agreed to. Couldn't recommend her more highly.
