This wasn’t my first rodeo, so early on I requested a search from multiple agents. I filled out the “contact me” form on Realtor, asked a real estate family friend for help, contacted listing agents directly for their listings but only one real estate agent came out on top, Clementine. I stumbled upon her in an open house I had to attend by myself since my realtor/ family friend couldn’t make it. I gave her my search parameters and like the rest and I notified her that I am speaking with multiple agents. Within the hour, on a Sunday, she sent me some possible homes (with other agents it was usually the next day) and sent me contact info for a mortgage broker. The homes were exactly what I asked for and when I asked to change the parameters, they were changed that same day. What a first impression! This is the kind of aggressiveness, communication and involvement that helped me secure my home in one of the most brutal housing markets ever. I never felt like any decision made during the contract process was in the best interest of getting the deal done. I’ve always felt as if she actually cared about me purchasing something I would be satisfied with. When the deal was about to fall through she gave me confidence in knowing that if I have to walk away from the deal, we would be alright because she could find something else for me. There were times where the communication from the mortgage agents, title company, and closing agents were lacking. She was never afraid to get on the phone or email and get them back on track. Clementine is the perfect agent: Communicative, Straightforward, Knowledgeable and Empathetic with a French accent! 😁 It was a pleasure working with her and it will definitely not be the last time.
