Peggy Hoag Real Estate was absolutely great. 5 Stars! When it came time for my parents (who were in their 70’s and had been living in the same home for over 40 years) to sell their home; we were very fortunate to have been referred to Yamuna Benedict of Peggy Hoag Real Estate. Yamuna was very informed and knowledgeable about the real estate market in our area, and came over a couple of months before the home was ever listed, to give advice and guidance on how we could make minor updates to appeal to the masses and ultimately get top dollar. Following her advice, we removed all the outdated wallpaper, painted, installed new cabinet hardware, de-cluttered and wallah; we were ready to sell. My parents, again in their 70’s, were completely overwhelmed and intimidated by what they thought the process would be like; but Yamuna and her team of most extraordinary experts, completely eased their fears and apprehensions. Yamuna was excellent with communicating and letting them know exactly what was going on at each step in the process. When it came time to list the house; the photos and listing were stunning. The house looked so good, we wanted to buy it! In the first 5 days of the listing being active, we had around 30 showings and 15 offers, AMAZING! Granted we were in a sellers market, but I truly believe that with the updates and outstanding service from Yamuna and the entire Hoag Real Estate Team, we had a home that stood out from the crowd, and commanded top dollar. After 5 days and reviewing all 15 offers, my parents were pleased and very happy to accept an offer of 105K above the asking price. Yes you read that right[ $105,000.00 ABOVE ASKING PRICE! If I could sum up our experience in just a couple of words, I’d say: “RESULTS, PROFESSIONAL, COMMUNICATION” Don’t waste time and money on a real estate agent that is only looking out for their own interest. She valued my home at a price I was surprised and pleased with and it sold in one day. Peggy is a master negotiator who deftly brought the parties together with amazing skill. Everyone felt they got a fair deal. Peggy was worth every penny and her skills and experience resulted in more net proceed in my pocket than would have been the case with a discount broker. Yamuna Benedict was my agent and she and her assistant, Christy were AMAZING. Yamuna really knows her stuff and was extremely responsive to my many, many questions. She is very personable.....and really enjoys her job and making sure her clients are very well taken care of. I had another agent before her and that experience was not a good one, which caused me to fire that person and take my house off the market for a little while before starting over. I interviewed several agents and Yamuna was absolutely the very best choice!!! Plus she is very, very nice and smart......Christy was always very responsive to all my texts and emails and phone calls.....they are a great team. I would give them 10 stars if I could.......

Yamuna and her team did an outstanding job from start to finish! Yamuna provided a very detailed and thorough analysis of the property. She did not pressure us to put our house on the market before we were ready, but gave us wise advice on the best timing to list it. She coached us on how to prepare the house for sale. Her assistant, Christy, rolled up her sleeves to help the day the photographers came. The photographers the Hoag company provided did an amazing job, including taking aerial photos of our acreage. Yamuna strategically priced our home to get the best possible outcome. We had offers within a few days of listing and closed in just over one month. Yamuna's expertise was invaluable as she answered our questions. Communication with the Hoag team was excellent. The process of selling our home went smoothly overall. We highly recommend Yamuna and the Hoag real estate team!

If you want 5 star, professional real estate service then Peggy and her team are the absolute best! I used them to purchase a home in July, then used them again to sell a rental house of mine that turned into a rather complicated transaction but they managed it seamlessly, keeping me up to date on every detail and Peggy negotiated a price I was very happy with. I was delighted with the whole process and would recommend them highly to anyone looking to purchase or sell a home in the Portland Metro Area.
