I have been through several realtors on Maui, hitting bottom with incompetence a number of times. That cost me a lot on all levels. It took a ton of work to find Josh and his team at Hawaii Life. I am beyond grateful to find someone who is competent and professional and communicates well. In this challenging real estate climate, we had to work closely as the prices fell and the market kept softening. I always felt better after talking to Josh, and felt like we made a good team. Rich was willing to put in a lot of extra work for 6 months to help maintain the property after we addressed the severe neglect from six months in the hands of an abysmal Coldwell Banker realtor. He did everything I asked for, down to a quick and affordable replacement of a ceiling fan someone broke during escrow, many open houses, and even moving a large potted Areca palm since I have moved off island. I have been told by a number of people familiar with Maui real estate that there are a lot of people who try to be realtors and a few people who actually run a tight ship and do most of the business. Selling my first house ever, I was on a steep learning curve as I figured that out. I am very grateful to be able to move on to selling my STR with the team that brought me success on selling my home in Kihei. We all worked hard to make the sale happen and I trust this team to get the condo sold as well. Josh knows this business well. Don’t waste time with the amateurs.

Cory is awesome! He is the nicest and most professional realtor I've ever worked with to complete a deal ( I've used about 10 + realtors over 25 years to buy or sell). Most realtors on maui are know it alls, barely know what they're doing because its only a part time gig while they bartend at night, or the big names often think they're local celebrities..... not Cory! He's very humble and interested in helping you achieve what you're looking for in a real estate transaction. If you ask him for any information or any necessary details about a property he will find it quickly and he responds to any requests very promptly. I recently sold my Condo and Josh Jerman and Rich Wu were the listing agents. Everything from the initial listing to the final closing was handled in an extremely professional way, no question was left unanswered. They took the time to make sure the Condo was listed at the right market value in a difficult environment and they were always quick in response if you had a question, which is not that common anymore in today’s business world. No surprise that Josh was being announced the Realtor Broker of the Year in 2019 and Rich was named the Maui Rising Star 2024, awesome team, I surely will use their knowledge of the Maui Real Estate market in the future again.

Josh is always behind us. That is a feeling my wife and I had when he helped us find our home on Maui. Finding a home is a very short version of a life journey. It goes up and down. We made an offer to a certain house but the offer did not go through. After visiting so many houses with Josh, we finally got the one. But it was not the end of the journey. There were lot of work after signing the contract. Josh has an unlimited amount of patience. We have never seen him irritated and or frustrated. We see his smile all the time. He always listens to us very carefully and never gives up. When we need his professional advice, he is always there. In fact, he kept calling us when he was 12,000 miles away from Maui on his vacation. His advice is very crisp, decisive and professional. Buyers sometimes needs strong advice when we have to make critical decisions. He always comes to a point right there and helps us make good decisions.
