Pamela Reader is a Maui Realtor-Broker specializing in West Maui—Lahaina, Ka’anapali, Kahana, and Napili—while also serving clients throughout South Maui, Central Maui, Upcountry, and North Shore communities. Her island-wide expertise ensures buyers and sellers receive trusted, local insight no matter the location.
Originally from New York City, Pamela moved to the Valley Isle in 2001 and quickly fell in love with island life. More than 20 years later, she continues to call Maui home, raising her family and helping others find their dream home in paradise.
Before real estate, Pamela earned two Master’s Degrees and helped launch the Preschool and Lower School programs at a local independent school in West Maui. In 2013, she transitioned into real estate, combining her organizational skills, community leadership, and passion for people. Clients appreciate her warm personality, professionalism, and commitment to making each transaction seamless and personalized.
Pamela is deeply involved in her Maui community. She serves on the Board of Trustees for Nā Hale O Maui Land Trust, which lost 14 homes during the 2023 Lahaina Wildfire, and as Co-Chair of the Realtors Association of Maui’s Government Affairs Committee. She also founded the “Kind Club” at her daughter’s school, inspiring students through kindness-based projects and activities.
When not assisting clients or volunteering, Pamela enjoys hiking, exploring her island home, traveling, and spending time with her daughters at their favorite spot—Shark Pit Beach in Lahaina. She loves good food, Maui sunsets, and staying active through yoga, barre, Pilates, and spin classes.
Following the tragic August 2023 Lahaina Wildfire, Pamela lost her home but continues to rebuild with resilience and aloha. Her home reconstruction is already underway, and she remains committed to restoring her beloved town of Lahaina. To support local recovery, she encourages donations to the Maui Pono Foundation, which provides direct aid to fire survivors and small businesses rebuilding within the community.
