About Jennifer

Jennifer is a native of Chesapeake Va. She graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1995. She has lived in Camden for 20 years with her husband, two sons, and two labs! Service to the community has always been important to her. She serves on numerous boards and commissions in the area including the board of directors for Food Bank of the Albemarle, Boys and Girls Club, Albermarle Area Association of REALTORS, and the College of the Albemarle Foundation. She was recognized for her community work by being named one of the Elizabeth City Area Chamber of Commerce Women of Excellence in 2016. After spending more than a decade in the corporate world, she decided to leave and open her own business with her husband. Once she got her business successfully off the ground Jennifer decided to pursue her lifelong true passion, real estate. She bought her first rental property at age 23 and has been in love with real estate ever since. She became a broker with the company in 2019. Jennifer loves working with first-time buyers. She especially likes being able to answer their questions and truly educating them about and helping them navigate the whole process from signing the contract, through all the inspections, securing financing, all the way to the closing table. She is known for her attention to detail and her follow-up skills. Jennifer also has a strong background in commercial leasing and properties. Amazing Help!

While moving across country, Alex handled many things for me such as setting up inspections and viewing the listings while taking videos. She also went out of her way to show me the vicinity of the listings. Such as the drive up to the properties, or how close they were to potential disruptions or high noise areas. If there was a smell lingering or even small things an inspector might have missed or elected not to disclose, she would let me know as much as she possibly could about the properties. She also showed me one last listing that had just popped up after I was willing to settle on a house and it was much closer to what I was looking for! At no point did I feel like I didn't know what was happening or what I was walking in to. She worked with my lender as well to help everything go as smoothly as possible. I would definitely work with her again!

Very punctual and professional

The entire home buying process was super quick and easy. It was only that way thanks to my realtors. They knew the time frame and what needed to be done. For a first time home buyer, I was going in blind. They explained everything in very good detail so I wasn’t confused.

Made Buying My First Home Easy

Laura was great every step of the process. She made my first home purchase almost effortless on my end. I found my property the first day it was listed, and Laura toured it the next morning, got an offer ready, and had it accepted all within about 3 or 4 days. I bought the home sight unseen from California, so she walked through the entire property with me via WhatsApp several times throughout the process to show me everything in detail. It was an older home, so we asked for a few repairs, including the water heater, and she got everything negotiated. She is very military-friendly, understands the ins and outs of VA loans, and knows the area extremely well. Thanks again!
