Laura Harris was the sellers agent for my father-in-law who recently sold his home in Venice. Due to the hurricane that hit the area in September 2022, the home need roof repair and the process of selling was delayed until completion. During this time, Laura was in constant communication and was proactive in advising and understanding when and how to relist the home. Her knowledge of the Venice area, particularly the Island side, was invaluable in setting the right price. The home was sold within a week of listing to a well qualified buyer and closed within a month. During the negotiation phase, inspections and other required contractual milestones, Laura was always available and quick to assist in resolving any questions from both sides to make it progress smoothly to close on time. Selling my home all on my own was very stressful having been recently divorced. Dawn was recommended by a dear friend of mind. With great anxiety I made the call. Dawn returned the call , took all my information then made the appointment to come and check out the house. I was very impressed and at ease from the moment I met her. She had all the information of the homes that had recently sold in my neighborhood, and gave me reasonable market value for the home. She answered all my questions regarding the process and every step of what I should expect. Her knowledge of real estate and every detail from putting it on the market to all the details of closing, was amazing. Being the holidays she was going out of town to visit family, but checked in on me and how things were going daily. The layout of pictures were great. She also kept the buyer side in check. I really thought being the holidays it would take several months to sell my home, but the first person that looked at it bought it. Dawn is professional and personable. She does an excellent job from start to finish. I wish she were my agent to purchase a new home , but I have moved out of state and I'm afraid the purchase end will take me much longer,as it has already been two months and I have found nothing.
