After that inspection, and a quick look at a few others in our desired neighbourhood, it quickly became clear that the first house was the one we wanted. We had Dawn write up the offer, then sat back and watched her make things happen. From our first visit to an accepted conditional offer took less than 48 hours, and we closed three weeks later. While the vendor and his agent were cooperative and helpful, Dawn was the one who drove the deal from start to finish. It would be impossible to overstate the level of enthusiasm, knowledge, and professionalism Dawn brought to the transaction, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is also very well-connected, and was able to help us with everything from a pre-buy inspection to recommending a title agency. Where she absolutely shone, though, was in displaying a human touch – when both of us contracted Covid the week after our offer was accepted, Dawn was in touch daily to make sure we were OK, including offering to buy and deliver groceries while we were in isolation to make sure we didn’t go hungry, along with any needed medication. In short, we feel that we’ve made a personal friend as well as a new professional relationship. Dawn helped us buy our home in Englewood, FL. She went above and beyond by remotely showing us the property and the neighborhood. When my parents decided to sell their home in North Port I recommended Dawn. She sold the home immediately. The day of the closing was the day hurricane Ian hit Florida. The house received significant damage. The sale was off. Dawn worked with us to assess the true damage even though she had her own storm damage. With her recommendation we cleaned up the property and had it inspected. It was safe to live in. Dawn worked to value the home. In the end, the same buyers came back and bought the property for a price we all agreed on. Dawn is fun to work with and is incredibly dedicated to her profession. I highly recommend her.
