My name is Karen M. Riscinto, and I am an award winning licensed Real Estate Professional since 1988 who takes much pride in my profession. As such, I am constantly taking classes to enhance my knowledge and have several designations; CDPE (Short Sales), CIPS (International) TRC and MRP with the later geared towards active Military personnel and Veterans. I have been a resident of Lake County Florida since February 2005. I was featured as the agent on an episode of HGTV “Lake Front Bargain Hunt” (Living Large in Lake County) in 2014 which featured Eustis and Mount Dora, FL. It was a truly amazing experience. As a seasoned Licensed Real Estate Broker/Owner and Real Estate Professional I have over 36 years in residential and commercial Real Estate Development, Construction & Sales. I am a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club in 2013-2022. I have been a top producing agent for 6-1/2 years for a former Brokerage. I was the winner of the 2016 Daily Commercial Readers’ Choice Award for Realtor Lake and Sumter County. I started working in the real estate arena in 1977 and received my real estate license in Florida in 1988 and in Georgia in 1990. I lived in Atlanta and was the VP of Property Management for a large Southeastern Property Management & Development Company and as a Corporate Real Estate Manager for a large British Conglomerate in the Northeast. I moved back to South Florida in 2004 where I worked as the VP of Sales & Development for a Development Company and as a Consultant for Condominium Development projects in Broward and Dade County. I moved to Lake County in February 2005 to take a Director of Real Estate position and in 2007 I started working as a full time REALTOR. In June of 2017 I became a broker and opened my own firm August 1, 2017, where I continue to be in the top in sales and property Management. I will never suggest a deal that is not right for you just to make a commission. I take great pride in knowing that the service I provide to my customers is of the highest caliber and integrity thus deserving of my earned commissions. The staging and primping of the seller's home is very rewarding for me, I enjoy making the home sparkle and use professional photography so the prospective buyers want to come in and buy! I work diligently when matching my clients and their needs so that I can be clear as to what they really want from their real estate experiences. I continually strive to stay on top of innovative online marketing and social media, but also find it important to use "old school" methods such as direct mail and knocking on doors. Personal Background - Growing up an Air Force "brat", as military kids were affectionately called, I was fortunate to travel far and wide, both within the US and in Asia. My father ended his military service in Homestead, Florida and I have had the privilege of calling South Florida home since 1973. I know something about the stressful adventure of selling, moving, buying and relocating, having had 23 addresses in my lifetime! I have been working in residential real estate since 2005 with clients in Coral Gables, Kendall, Palmetto Bay, and Pinecrest. I currently reside in Palmetto Bay with my husband and two rescue dogs amid a plethora of peacocks.
