Sue Hewitson, my agent here during my home buying process, was amazing! She's married to a contractor, and it shows. Each house we looked at, she was always pointing out little construction-related things that I would never had noticed, whether good or bad. Stuff like, "Oh yeah the fit and finishes here are good I guess, but have you noticed the massive gaps in the door frames? Or the extremely uneven flooring?". Conversely, when we came across a gem, she would be sure to point out the things that stood out as positives for each house. She clearly had (at least to some extent) my best interests in mind, and in the end I feel next to no buyer's remorse about the decision I made. She was also an adept negotiator and helped us out of a bidding war before things spiraled. My only criticism is that she does not work on certain holidays such as Easter, a policy that I believe applies to Fazendin in general, and that turned out to be a big issue because Easter came up just as we wanted to submit an offer on a house-which gave another buyer the opportunity to submit their own counteroffer. We ended up paying more than we wanted because of that, so make sure not to go house-hunting with Fazendin if any major holidays are coming up! Other than that, we had a fantastic experience and I never once felt like I wasn't in good hands.

Tara is amazing. She took the time to really get to know us and get a true idea of the home we were looking for. She is extremely professional while at the same time she is friendly, kind and so easy to work with. Whenever we had questions, she would respond immediately. She would go over and above with her responses and research and we always felt so well taken care of. Her wealth of knowledge in her field is unmatched. She always had wonderful vendor suggestions when we were asking about home projects (both on our new home and our old home) and the results were excellent. No question we asked was ever too silly or small and she always had an answer. It made for such a lovely working relationship. Tara’s patience and dedication helped to take the stress out of what could have been a very stressful experience.
