Working with Shirin for the second time has once again been an absolutely exceptional experience. This was a complex out-of-state sale involving a my MD property, and she made what could have been a stressful and logistically heavy process feel completely seamless from start to finish. As a remote seller, I initially expected I would need to travel back and forth multiple times to manage staging, furniture removal, and preparation but that was never necessary. Shirin went far above and beyond at every step. She brought in a local agent from her brokerage that turned out to be equally amazing for showing to make sure we could get folks in to see the house quickly. She took full ownership of preparing the home for market, coordinated key renovations, and ensured every detail was handled with care and intention. She even brought in her own staging items to elevate the presentation of the home, which made a noticeable difference in how the property showed. Her eye for detail and presentation is truly outstanding. The marketing execution was also incredible! The photos were beautiful and really showcased the home at its absolute best. She was able to lean on the Engel & Völkers team where needed, ensuring nothing fell through the cracks and everything stayed on track. This sale ended up being more involved than originally expected, but Shirin adapted effortlessly, stayed proactive, and kept everything moving smoothly toward a successful outcome. Most importantly, I never once had to travel back or worry about what was happening on the ground because I had complete trust in her. There was also a sweet reward in working with her again, which made this experience even more meaningful. Henry told us early on that he might not be able to find exact right house for us, but if we found it ourselves, he would set us up as best as possible to win it. That's exactly what happened. We met Henry a little over a year before we ended up buying a house through him, and much of that first year was just us being unprepared and asking a lot of questions. Henry took the time to learn what we were looking for, explain anything we didn't know yet, and most importantly, understood the market shifts at the time we considered putting in offers. By the time we put in our first and only offer, we all knew that certain high quality houses were going considerably over listing. We did what we could on the bid, but Henry's last second chats with the listing agent and negotiation skills clutched the win for us.
