Greta gets it done. For pre-listing prep: When her go-to stager had a family emergency, she pointed us to another, who was excellent. When her go-to photographer was unable to do the virtual staging we wanted to try in our basement, she brought in another, who was excellent. When I emailed her several lists of nice things about the house, she collated and arranged the information into a coherent summary for the brochure. And of course, she was on top of all the paperwork, of which there is quite a bit in Montgomery County in 2018. Once the house was listed, Greta coordinated dozens of showings, culminating in an Open House and then review of multiple offers. Her management of the process resulted in a good match of buyer and house that were perfect for each other, at a price everyone was happy with. Oddly, although things moved quickly once we signed with Greta (from that point to signing the sales contract was about two weeks), we never felt rushed or overwhelmed. I had feared that, after decades of living in the house and developing a certain possessiveness about it, things would suddenly be out of my control; but Greta was a good sport about letting us proofread all marketing text and review all photography. She actually seemed to welcome another set of eyes, said we made a good team. She also kept us informed, abided by our decisions, and responded promptly to all emails and texts. When we had differences of opinion, she was happy to state her case, after which we usually took her advice, but not always. There's always a certain level of effort and suspense when selling one's home, but Greta's conscientiousness ensured that everything went as smoothly as possible.
