She was very helpful and gave us a picture of the market at that time and offered advice on how to prepare our home when we were ready. Her advice turned out to be golden and made the entire moving and packing process flow. Months later her knowledge of the market was instrumental as the market had changed during that time and we were able to increase our property price based on better comps. Our home sold in 48 hours! During the contract stage, Kathy was able to successfully negotiate a later settlement date for us and when an appraisal came back lower than expected, Kathy immediately provided the necessary comps and additional information needed which resulted in a higher appraisal. We were pleased and thankful for Kathy's experience and knowledge. Later, when we realized we could not attend the settlement, Kathy came to our home and went through the process with us and then represented us at the settlement. This was a life saver for us. We asked Kathy McDonald to help up do the impossible and she delivered totally! We had been talking about downsizing for quite some time, and due to circumstances, decided NOW was the time! We’ve known Kathy for many years so it was a “no brainer” that we chose her to be our guiding light! We contacted her, she did a walk-through to help decide what needed to be done to prepare the house to be shown (we’ve lived in the house for 35 years and had lots of “treasures “ to deal with) and we got to work. 6 weeks later we had a sign on the lawn - and immediately sold! There were several little issues during the process that made the experience “interesting”, but due to her expert knowledge, all hurdles were crossed successfully. She also guided us through the purchase of a wonderful condo without a hiccup! The total amount of time from our initial decision to sell to sitting at the settlement table was less than 3 months!
