She kept us updated on any new listings that matched our criteria, and helped advise our direction based on what we were looking for in a house/area. She was patient and encouraging during our house hunting trip as we checked out several houses on the agenda. The closing process was very smooth, and she was very communicative every step of the way. I felt like we were in very good hands and couldn't have chosen a better realtor!

I am so honored to have an opportunity to share my experience of working with Heather Shields as my realtor. After 54 years of hiccups and missteps, I was finally able to purchase a home for just myself. I never felt judged or rushed. I also knew that she was looking out for me. While I was gazing at fresh coats of paint, she was checking the inner workings of things that matter. She was determined to find a place that would work best for me. There were even a few things that I didn't think that the seller would address, but she pushed for me, and I even got a new A/C out of the deal! Amazing! Additionally, the apps that she and the lender used made everything so clear and simple. It would have been much harder had I had to drive all over town to sign all of the paperwork. After closing, she also referred me to a locksmith and moving company that were quality. I have been overjoyed everyday since! Thank you!!!

Heather Shields and Leslie Heindel of Be New Orleans are top notch. They are patient yet firm. They give solid advice and are available almost 24 hours a day to answer questions, calm nerves and keep the process moving forward. I trust them implicitly. They came highly recommended so I used them to sell my mom's condo, then I liked them so much I hired them to sell my complicated house and plan to use them to buy another house.

Heather and Leslie were able to sell our first home during a difficult time in the housing market as a direct result of their hard work and determination. They helped us purchase our new dream home by working closely with the seller. The seller had opportunities to sell to others. Looking for a home can be stressful. Leslie and Heather made it easy and fun.
