(That's actually how we found the house we did buy, we passed an open house after we'd looked at a different property.) We had a very limited search for the house we purchased, the second one we looked at just felt like a very good fit, but she was very knowledgeable about everything and able to explain all the various steps we needed to go through to do an offer, then negotiate it, then complete the process.
