However, Mona did an amazing job at explaining every step of the process. She was exceptionally responsive; we almost never waited more than a couple of hours to hear back to texts or calls. When touring homes, she was great at pointing things out to us that we may not have noticed (or wouldn't know to check as first-time buyers). We actually met Karen at an open house we walked into on our own. That house wasn't the right fit for us, but Karen's experience and friendliness caught us immediately that we asked for her help in our search. Karen was on the ball with everything. She was speedy when we needed to contact her and she was proactive in getting information to/from the sellers, the mortgage company, and the settlement company. She was beyond knowledgeable (and very patient) explaining every detail to us along the process, as we were very unprepared first time home buyers. Because she is a local to the area, she is so informed about the market, community news and culture, and reputable vendors both for the buying process (inspections, settlement) and also for once we moved in (pest services, trash).
