Jacquelyn and Daniel were fantastic throughout the purchase of our new home. They were incredibly attentive, responsive, and proactive from start to finish. Anytime we had a question or concern, they were immediately on it. Our home was built about 10 years ago and has a specialty roof that qualified for a significant homeowners insurance discount, but the insurance company required documentation from the original builder in order to approve it. Jacquelyn and Daniel went above and beyond, navigating multiple hurdles to track down the necessary information and make sure we had everything we needed. Daniel’s background and expertise in home construction were especially valuable. He was able to take complex inspection findings and repair terminology and explain them in a way that was easy to understand, helping us process both the issue itself and the potential impact. What stood out most to me, though, was their communication style and responsiveness. They kept everything moving without ever making us feel pressured. Angela directed me in how to stage my home and gave suggestions to give my home the right look. I reluctantly followed her recommendations because I had my "Stuff" after 21 years in my lovely home. Ellen is thorough, patient and generally so knowledgeable about all the ins and out of the deal. We’ve had the pleasure of buying with her, and also selling, which it’s hard to decide which side was the smoothest. During our purchase, she never once hesitated on how many house, how far a drive or how last minute we put a request in. She kept up with our fast paced motion and was over-prepared, helped us way the pros and cons of each house, neighborhood, lifestyle and commute. During our sale, she was able to get multiple over-asking offers before we even hit the market. She was available anytime either party needed her, was extremely fair in the finances and was an amazing advocate. We felt so safe, heard and protected working with her. Ellen was recommended to me by a mutual friend. I had never sold a house before so she informed me at every turn about what to expect, what to consider, and how to move forward. Every question she answered with patience and great knowledge. Ellen went over and beyond her responsibilities as a realtor. I live in California and was selling my house in Texas so Ellen would often go by the house to meet people who needed to do yard work or other maintenance work. I hope she won’t mind me saying she even took a tub of paint and a brush herself to the house do a touch up! I would not hesitate one second in recommending Ellen. If you want someone who really shows care in what she does you want Ellen. In these times of stress and discord in our country it was so nice to work with a person who has a true sense of humanity.
