I was thinking about moving into the Lexington, KY area. I did not know much about the area. Sam was very willing to show me homes in a variety of town's and explain the benefit's of each area. I found this knowledge to be very helpful. Whenever I had a question about a property, Sam would let me know if there was anything structurally wrong with it. He know that I did not want to get involved with that. I found Sam's responsiveness and negotiation skills spot on. He really had my best interest in mind. This made the whole process much easier. So many changes had been instituted in the real estate business since we purchased last. Liz educated us on the changes that included the importance of being pre-approved in this current market to be able to make an offer immediately. She explained how different types of properties may need different types of loans and institutions, such as land only to build on vs land with a site built home vs land with a manufactured home. Her persistence on the importance of diligence of the home inspections during the contract period actually saved us from purchasing a farm where the well water had been compromised and contaminated by a faulty and broken septic tank.
