We met with Joan in one of her open houses and quickly we knew she was going to be our agent. Our reason was that she tries to understand you and does not force you into anything. When you like a listing, she also talks abour the possible CONs. And we didn't even know she was patient to work with as picky customers as us that she worked with us for 2.5 years to find a place. Having an agent is more important after you make an offer! You need someone who will speak up for you, negotiate and follow up. After all that time the only place we loved and made offer brought lots of troubles as it was a new construction and we were going to be the first one to live in Joan was handholding us through the process and she was on top of the developers to commit to terms we need from them And we managed! We are happily living in our own house now. I don't think we could do it alone and Joan's persistency made it possible to agree on good terms with developers.
