Don contacted me while I was applying for my loan through veterans united during Covid. I was transferring from Houston Texas to Beavercreek Ohio. I knew nothing about Beavercreek except that my niece had gone to Wright state and recommended it as a great community to raise my 15-year-old son. I provided my criteria to Don and he hit the ground running by scheduling three houses for me to see. all of them matched my criteria, but because I was unfamiliar with the area, I still wasn’t quite sure if I was picking the right place. over the course of three weeks. Don continued to adjust my search criteria and mentioned to me that there was a long bike path that ran through Beavercreek. This peaked my interest, and I began looking for houses close to the bike path. I found a house on a Saturday evening at 8:30 PM. I immediately contacted Don and asked him if we could look at it the following morning. he did not hesitate. He met me on a rainy Sunday morning to show me the house. He introduced the escalation clause to me, which I was unaware was an option in Ohio. He ensured that I was able to get the house at the most competitive price and did an excellent job negotiating for me. He recommended contractors and inspectors. The closing went quite smoothly. I don’t recall having any problems whatsoever. I got the house at the price I wanted and it literally changed my life. Don is compassionate, patient,resourceful, and tenacious. I highly recommend him.
Stephanie has worked with us for over 2 years to find a house that we could call home. The first attempt we made a mistake. Our offer was accepted, it didn't check any of the boxes. Stephanie bailed us out and she never thought twice about it or ever mentioned it. During the time that we worked together she constantly sent us suggestions. Matter of fact, she was the one that found the house that we bought. There were some bumps along the way and she remained hopeful. We closed on this house in 14 or 15 working days! She played a major role, working many late nights(9:30 pm)drafting documents and walking us through them making sure we understood before we signed anything. Her knowledge and experience are excellent and showed on many occasions. Stephanie was easy to get a hold of and always able to communicate with us. Stephanie is very proactive. Anticipating questions we would have and getting the answers before we asked. Putting all this together, Stephanie is an energetic and extremely knowledgeable and professional realtor. We were selling the parent's condo and not really sure what to do. Don Shurts arrived to help us out. And, we were very surprised at how effortless the process was for us. He introduced himself, did the cursory walk through, told us we did not have to do anything, and then we negotiated the selling price. He knew the neighborhood and the market! We thought the price was okay but maybe a bit high. He assured us it would be sold in a short time. Well, he was beyond right! We had offers in four days and all for more than the asking price! Settlement was fast and thorough. He explained everything and we could not have been happier with the result. Highly recommend Don Shurts for your reality needs.
