I lived in Chapel Hill for 25 years before moving out, so I’m familiar with many of the well-known realtors in the area. Before meeting Jodi, I spoke with another agent to evaluate my home. She was very nice, but she told me that homes in my neighborhood were not selling well and She suggested listing my house at a price similar to another home on my street.However, my house sits on a premium lot, has a very unique layout, and includes many upgrades. Even so, the other realtor still felt we should list at a similar price point. Then I called Jodi. She arrived at my house within an hour carrying a folder full of research she had already prepared. After reviewing my home, she confidently told me she believed we could list it significantly higher than the comparable homes in the neighborhood — but she also explained that proper preparation would be essential before going to market. Jodi worked incredibly hard. She checked on the house almost every day. She designed improvements for the landscaping, coordinated painting for the siding, and guided every detail of the preparation process. At first, I was hesitant to invest in all those improvements because I wasn’t sure I would get the money back, but she was absolutely right. She spent an entire month preparing the house for sale. She arranged a pre-sale inspection and helped address the major issues ahead of time. She hired an excellent photographer, and the listing photos turned out absolutely gorgeous. She used virtual staging upstairs and professional staging downstairs, all while keeping staging costs much lower than we originally expected. Throughout the entire process, she was transparent, hardworking, and extremely dedicated. My house sold in just 5 days with multiple offers, plus sold price is forty thousands above the list price. I truly believe Jodi is exceptional at what she does, and I would highly recommend her to anyone selling a home in Chapel Hill.

Once we finally found our home, Jodi went above and beyond to help with everything that came next. She made the offer and closing process so smooth and kept us organized every step of the way. Even after closing, she was incredibly helpful in connecting us with trusted contractors and resources to get our new home set up and ready. What stood out most was how genuine she is. It never felt like a transaction, but rather it felt like working with a friend who truly cared about finding the perfect fit for us. We always felt supported and confident knowing she was looking out for our best interests. Jodi truly is someone who is patient, knowledgeable, and dedicated to helping buyers find their perfect home. We’re so grateful for all her help and can’t imagine having gone through this process with anyone else!

I’ve worked with a good handful of realtors in my life, and I must say that Mouse made things the most blissfully easy and pleasant I’ve ever experienced. He’s truly a ‘people person’, friendly and funny, and I will miss looking at houses with him. His knowledge of the workings of houses was far superior to anything I’ve experienced; and he had no problem rolling up his sleeves and doing extra dirty work like crawling under houses to look at things there which could be an issue. He’s highly proactive, and made sure to check in with me regularly. He was always available for a call if I had a question, and responded immediately to texts, both of which are rare. He understood from the beginning what my likes and dislikes were, as well as my communication preferences, and made sure to address/follow them with every house we looked at. Unlike other realtors who were just trying to sell a house, he really wanted to help me find my perfect house, and would honestly point out any possible deal breakers when he found them, so we could quickly move on to the next house (he did not waste my time, which I very much appreciate). In addition to this, he has NUMEROUS connections around this area, having grown up here, and made sure to find the most reasonable prices for the best estimates, inspections , etc. Even after closing last September, he’s still sending me useful information and reminders and checking in with me to make sure my new journey is successful. I’m so glad I trusted him, and if ever I need to look for another house, he will be my go to person! I’m a bit sad that I can only give 5 stars. Thank you, Mouse! If I were your boss, I would give you a huge raise.

Mouse was wonderful to work with - very responsive, helpful and knowledgeable! Wasn't afraid to get his "hands" dirty - went into the crawl space of the home that we purchased to make sure everything look right. Can't ask for a better agent!

I recommend Mouse and Gloria in the strongest terms after they helped us buy our home this year. Their style is casual and low-stress, but when it comes time to get the job done these two are on top of it! Banks, lawyers, inspectors—they knock down any obstacles! They know the area so well, I never doubted that we were getting all the info we needed. They really go the extra mile to help put your mind at ease during a transition that can often seem overwhelming.
