★★★★★ Above and Beyond Service for Military Families! Working with Jessica was hands-down the best real estate experience we could have had, this being our first time purchasing a home. From the very beginning, she was incredibly attentive and proactive. We never had to wonder what was happening; she made sure to keep us constantly posted with updates throughout the entire process. What truly blew us away was her care before, during and after closing. Because we are in the military and we were currently stationed out of state, we couldn't be at the property physically. Jessica did a full walk through via video for us to show us the property. She also did a facetime walk through after closing and also went out to our home after the sale was finalized just to check on it and ensure the heat was set to the correct temperature so the pipes wouldn’t freeze, and everything was the way it was when the owners had moved out. That level of dedication, empathy, and integrity is rare. She didn't just see us as a transaction; she truly looked out for our home and our family. Things with Tom started out very well. We had a contract within 8 days. After some fixes we were on track. In the end, things didn't run so smoothly. Due to a lack of communication, the "final walk through" never had a firm time of taking place between both sides. No exact time was conveyed to be out of the house which caused the buyers lawyer/realtor being involved and making demands straight through me! I expected Tom to be the buffer between us but that was no communication on both sides. Additionally, the realtor for the buyers said to my face that she was the lawyer and I was to be out ASAP! I had never met the woman previously. Finally, due to scheduling and weather issues, the new roofing job has not been completed as of yet. The other lawyer is withholding $10,000 from the sale even though I have paid the contract for the job in full. Is that even legal? My experience of owning a home in NY was great until the end.
