Upon arriving to NM, my wife and I interviewed several realtors and checked references. After doing a good amount of 'homework', we decided to go with David. His knowledge of the local market, in addition to his knowledge in the construction of the houses in the Los Alamos area was very important to us. He has good connections with contractors that can help make improvements, and got us into a house with a good amount of land, unique style, and great bones, while being $100K under our limit. In the tight housing market of Los Alamos, his level of experience is critical to obtaining a house.

We had many challenges during this experience. We dealt with all the obstacles that popped up after the signing of the potential buyers. I can't remember ant challenges we've had with other home sales. It seems New Mexico could improve its policies and reevaluate their approval of realtors. The buyers realtor was and shouldn't be allowed to practice selling. Many of the challenges we faced were the result of his inexperience. Their investigators were finding unusual and false problems, unsupported claims that in one case required a major cost and was proven to be a false claim. I spent a lot of time establishing that what he claimed was false. In my opinion he should be barred from any real estate transactions. Throughout all this turmoil our agent tried her best to keep the sale together and we eventually closed. Our experience with our agent was very positive. She deserves a medal for all she had to go through. We're happy the sale went through and I think she went the extra mile to get through the finish line. N
