He met with the septic company early in the morning to ensure everything went smoothly, shoveled the driveway and walkways himself during a snowstorm before an open house, and even assisted us with removing items from the home when I had no easy way to do so. He was also incredibly accommodating of my mother’s schedule, working around her needs with patience and flexibility. Since I live out of state, Dean stepped in on multiple occasions—meeting a plumber at the house to address a minor issue and overseeing details I simply could not manage remotely. In addition, his recommendations for service providers—from estate sale professionals to cleaners, plumbers, and septic specialists—were consistently excellent. Having bought and sold several homes over the years, I can confidently say that while I’ve had positive experiences with other realtors, Dean Long and the Bill Heenan team truly stand apart. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine commitment to their clients are exceptional. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home!

Exactly what I was looking for, excellent home and market knowledge without being pushy. Explained the whole process and answered all of my questions without judgement. As a bonus he already has people lined up (that you can change) to help with everything from getting a mortgage, home inspection, and an attorney to help with closing. Chris is definitely one of those "I gotta guy for that" kind of people, which was and will continue to be very helpful. There is a lot of moving pieces in buying a home, he kept everything on track and got me in my new home quickly and with little frustration.

Chris Maynard was great to work with! I found Chris while I was searching for a realtor located in the Norwich area and I felt like his portfolio aligned closely with the property I was selling. Chris was very quick to respond when I sent my information his way, and the promptness of his responses continued all the way through closing! I didn't feel like it was difficult for me to communicate with him or work with his recommendations for support (attorney, cleaning recommendations, pictures, etc.). He knew how to get things done, even as I was hundreds of miles away. When my renter moved out, Chris was there to represent me as he received the keys from the property manager. He represented me for walk throughs to close out the management side of renting out my property. He did open houses. He took some honestly laughable offers and represented me well as I denied those offers. He did everything I expect a realtor to do, and he did it professionally. Chris knew the area. He knew agents with buyers that would be interested in my style of property. He knew how to use his team to my advantage. I honestly appreciate how Chris made this simple for me, especially since I no longer live near Norwich. I thought the process would be complicated and difficult, but it wasn't. I honestly think the most difficult part was getting my property manager to link up with him- which was all on the property manager. Chris was ready to support immediately, and I am grateful for that. I have no plans on buying property in Connecticut again, but I will recommend Chris Maynard to friends that I still have in the area. If I were to purchase or sell in the area, I would 100% use Chris Maynard again!

Chris is a wonderful realtor! He is professional, kind, and thoughtful. He had a lot of patience with me when I wasn't sure what type of property I wanted to purchase. He spent a lot of time educating me on what the market had and what would best suit my needs. He never made me feel rushed and always went out of his way to help me see showings, even at the very last minute.
