Our journey started with just casually looking with no real timeline, home type, or price range. When we first met I told her that I didn't want to waste her time so I was transparent with the goal being no goal at all just looking and you never know. I expected her to be maybe annoyed or distant but she simple never was. She was consistent and accommodating. She knows the area well and brought me to places i didn't even ask about to help me get a feel for the area and the options from townhouses, to communities, stand alone homes, fixer uppers, and heading more towards the beach. I did not expect to end up where we did when we started but through her patience and knowledge of the area our focus started narrowing. After finding a couple places that I liked i added my wife to the visits, which as expected changed the perspective a bit as well. Esther adjusted as we changed and was nothing short of great to work with throughout the journey. The communication was always great and never pushy. Once we found the place we wanted Esther pointed us in the right direction for everything. Home inspection, bulkhead inspections, financing, attorney, and when things got a little crazy after inspections she continued being supportive without being pushy and helped with finding contractors and communicating with the sellers. At the last minute we hit a snag with the township and she set up a mtg myself, the seller, sellers agent and a building inspector. Once we understood the need it seemed like we were going to hit a delay... nope Esther went with me to the building department and guided me through the hurdles the very same day and we made it to closing as planned. I should also share that her husband works for the mortgage company we ended up using and was as excellent as Esther was in helping with the challenges.
