I happened upon Shannon by chance, when I inquired about one of her listings. The property, I learned, had just gone into contract, but she quickly discerned exactly what I was looking for, and promptly arranged for me to see a far superior home that was not yet formally on the market. I immediately tendered a purchase offer, and Shannon helped me quickly agree on favorable terms with the seller. She also connected me with an excellent loan officer at a local bank. We went to contract and closed soon thereafter. When it emerged that the seller left some loose ends unattended to, Shannon and one of her colleagues at Toner Real Estate went above and beyond the call of duty post-closing, making sure that everything was expeditiously resolved. To say that I had a positive experience with Bob Starr would be an understatement. His work with me was twofold: he helped me to sell my condo, and find and purchase my dream home. During my search for a new home, he accompanied me to every open house that I told him of, which was many. His knowledge as a real estate agent was immeasurable and his background as a builder helped me to see the prospective homes beyond the aesthetics. He helped with all of the arrangements in both that sale and then the purchase of my new home while I was in the hospital! This involved him traveling to me for signatures, his making phone calls to others involved on my behalf, driving me to the bank (with my wheelchair in the back of his car) for document notarization. His level of dedication and commitment made my dream a reality. I am forever grateful to have worked with someone with his level of professionalism and compassion.
