I had moved to my new home out of state. I was back in Illinois trying to get the house ready for sale by myself, and becoming increasingly overwhelmed. I put a request for a realtor on Realtor.com and Christie answered. We met at the house. I know she could see my anxiety, and she assured me of her experience, her contacts and professionalism. I signed a listing contract to go into effect at a future date, and we were off and running. I was able to return home and Christie handled winterizing the house, scheduling inspections, scheduling repairs, all of it. Then came the day that she called and asked if she could show the house, that was in no condition to be shown. I was preparing for an estate sale, the house and carpets needed a good scrubbing, etc. It just wasn't ready for showing.....but I reluctantly agreed. A couple days later, Christie called me with a full price offer!!!!!! What more could I ask for? The house wasn't even on the market yet!!!!
