Hooray! We recently closed on our new home! Angie Tedder was terrific in helping us navigate through this "sellers' market". We looked at numerous homes together and separately. Angie excels at noticing and pointing out concerns about a property such as sloping floors, areas around homes damaged by pooling water, etc. Her eye for these things, and sharing those insights with us, helped us feel more confident going to open houses on our own, knowing what to watch for. Angie made herself available to see each home we wanted to visit in a timely manner. On the occasion when she wasn't available, she arranged for another realtor to meet us, so we could visit the property quickly. Angie also pointed out to us that we were making a pattern of looking at the same type of home, at the same price point, and being dissatisfied each time. We hadn't realized we were doing that, and it helped us to change our approach. Due to the current housing market, many nice homes at our price point were selling on their first day on the market. Many would also receive multiple offers. We were able to get a contract on our home in part because Angie was able to arrange a showing before an open house scheduled that afternoon, the first day it was on the market. Lucky us to see the home before the open house! The seller received multiple offers on the property from the open house, but they honored their commitment to accept our offer, which Angie rushed to submit after our morning showing!
