Last year I did research on the Kissimmee real estate market and located several realtors serving that area. After talking with several realtors including Dawn Grigsby, she was selected to market two Florida lots that had been willed to my wife’s family due to their parents unforeseen passing. The challenge for Dawn was to be able to sell two different Florida lots with six related owners who live in various states. It was like herding cats, I joked! Dawn did a great job of determining my wife's family's goals before listing the properties during our initial conference call. Then, she performed a market analysis and made selling price recommendations based on current market conditions in the area. Then a follow-up conference call finalized an agreement with my wife's family on the selling price for each lot. Dawn's team did a wonderful job of taking multiple pictures of the lots from both land and air, that made the property very appealing in the multiple listings. The first lot was sold in just a few weeks after listing. The second lot was a bit less attractive and took three months. In about three months, she found a buyer that gave us our full listing price. Wow, we were happy! The two properties were purchased in the 60s. Over those many years, several times they were marketed by other agents but never sold. Dawn and her office manager, Laurie Sheaffer, made the remote closing process a piece of cake! They both are great communicators and kept us informed on every step along the way about the remote, electronic closing. Throughout the entire process, they were kind and respectful. If you want a real professional realtor team to sell your property or help you buy a property, Dawn Grigsby and Laurie Sheaffer should be who you call!
