John's strengths included his presentation on why we should use him, his truthfulness, his write-up and pics of our property for online sites, and his adherence to legal/realtor requirements. Additionally, one of his team kept us updated by email on the prolonged process from contract to closing. John himself was responsive to texts. However, John didn't seem very invested in things requiring more personal attention. When we lowered our price significantly, he left the original flyers in our house (with wrong price). Despite our request to make sure our home was secured after someone visited and his assurance he would exercise due diligence, I found deadbolts unlocked, the AC not being reset, lights on -- at least one of these occurred after every visitor, despite our asking him to check the whole house. With a week to go before closing, we hadn't even received a net sheet estimate. The house sold, as most houses do, because we reduced the price enough to attract a buyer. Busy guy, I guess.
