Gordy Got Us Under Contract Before the Open House… Brilliant Strategy!

Gordy represented me as the buyer’s agent, and after waiting months to find the right home, I finally found one I loved. It had just been listed, and the open house was scheduled for that weekend. I told Gordy I didn’t want to miss this opportunity, no matter what the offer was, I wanted a shot at beating it. He recommended we submit a bully offer, a strong, top-dollar bid with a firm deadline for the sellers to accept it the same day. The goal was to lock it in before the open house and potential bidding war. Thanks to Gordy’s strategy, that’s exactly what happened. The sellers accepted my offer before a single open house guest ever stepped foot inside. And after we were already under contract, higher offers did come in, but it was too late. The home was mine! Gordy’s strategic thinking and deep understanding of how to win in a competitive market made all the difference. Most agents wouldn’t have thought to do this, he’s in a league of his own.
