Listen: whether you’re a first-time home buyer or have done this a few times, this is NOT something you want to do alone. I’m a first-time home buyer, and yes, I was scared. I also work from home full-time, and I’m pretty busy being pulled in different directions throughout my day. If you’re a busy person like me, you want someone like Ashley helping you with this entire process. It’s just too much back and forth. Ashley was very attentive to my needs—I was lucky to find her after my first realtor wasn’t really listening to what I wanted. I wasn’t so sure what neighborhood I wanted to live, but Ashley listened to my likes/dislikes/non-negotiables, and she was able to give me actual suggestions that she thought I would like. Not just saying “yes” to everything just to make a sale. The other realtor wasn’t giving me any push back against areas I think I may have really been uncomfortable with, and wasn’t thinking about my needs. I had a pretty big work project going on while closing on my first home, and Ashley was always one text or call from handling everything for me. She always contacted me through every step of the way via phone and email. And she knew exactly when to contact me with the final updates instead of overwhelming me with little details that were still being ironed out. It also helps that she’s very personable and funny. As a first-time home buyer, I felt like I was working with a friend on my side rather than an unapproachable corporate figure. OH. I also can't forget—she has a roster of people who she personally uses and trusts for home repairs, inspection, etc. An extra bonus and a lot less work for me to take care of on my end! :') Ashley and I looked at a few houses together. She was able to recognize my reaction to the house that I ended up closing on. On the final walk through, she remembered that my fiance cooks, and she gave us a really sweet wooden cutting board. I couldn't have imagined doing this with anyone else.

Shellie was amazing. She went above and beyond for us. She was very flexible with us and always available especially when we came in town last minute. She met us for each build appointment, brought supplies and knew all the questions to ask that we didn't. Her referrals are spectacular and the lender she recommended was the best one we have ever worked with. I highly recommend her. I can't say enough good stuff about her. We plan to use her again.
