Definitely keep doing independent searches because the MLS won't show everything and sometimes lags. The agent is most important for the negotiation portion of the deal and the contracts/documents. Though you may wind up finding something you like on your own, Dianne is great at researching a property and comparisons, being honest about what it's worth, and helping you make a strong offer.
