I begin working with Darnell in April 2021 as I started my journey of becoming a first-time homebuyer. I interviewed and met him in person to see if he was the right agent for me. After interviewing six agents I choice him because he was understood my needs and had the time to help me thru this process. The first year into the homebuying process he not only was knowledgeable about the market but also have a background in home improvement which was a plus when looking at homes and their foundation to ensure that I didn't pick a home that was going to cost me a lot of repairs. After taking a pause on the market for several months, we came back out in March 2023 and the first week of getting back out looking, I got an offer. Darnell walked me thru the entire phase from the time I received the offer to closing. My closing was a roller coaster. It was very traumatic and stressful for me where I almost lost the home completely but throughout it all, Darnell believed in me and never gave up hope. He tried every possibly outcome to the very end to ensure that I close on this house-no matter how long it took. He was one of the main reasons I stuck through the process and came out with keys in my hand and papers signed. If you want someone that will really work, listen, understand, and be there for you through your entire homebuying process, Darnell is the one who will make sure you get those keys at the end. Tinika is an awesome realtor. She was patient, she listened, and executed against my needs. When other realtors persuaded me to NOT get a new construction, she was the total opposite which is the reason why I KNEW she was the ONE! She sought out locations, provided me with options for new constructions and resales weekly. She never got tired of me when I became discouraged. From the signage of the Purchase Agreement, to picking out options (that was the fun part), even throughout the respective build phases, Tinika kept in contact with builder concierge on the progress of my home. When we had the final walkthrough, her eye for detail took the lead. She noticed some of my options were not included, there was an issue with drywall, and the way the shingles were misplaced, she quickly jumped in and got those mishaps completed within 4 days of settlement!! Can you say WOW! OH and may I add she negotiated some “free” add-ons (for the inconvenience) to my lovely home 💜 She left no stone unturned. Every detail, every contract word was reviewed in detailed and explained to me so that I KNEW what I was agreeing to! If anyone thinks that a realtor is not needed/required for a new construction they are wrong!
