Right off the bat...my wife and I were the buyers, Ruben and Cheryl were the sellers' agents. Although Ruben and Cheryl worked on behalf of the seller, they were both wonderful to work with and helped tremendously to "close the deal". As we were approaching our closing date, two snags came up. The first issue was that our lender needed a certificate or plate for the manufactured home we were buying. Since it was not located during the inspection, the certificate had to be ordered and it would take no less than 10 business days. Rush service was not available. Ruben and Cheryl took it upon themselves to check out the home and discovered the needed certificate in the cabinet underneath the kitchen sink. This saved us from having to wait up to 2 additional weeks to close. Second, our signed closing documents were supposed to be sent FedEx from Las Vegas to San Diego. For some reason, some of the documents ended up at the FedEx hub in Tenessee. Ruben and Cheryl were able to ensure the docs were located and made their way to San Diego for recording. The documents arrived literally 5 minutes before the 2:00 pm deadline to record on Friday afternoon. Once recorded, they let us know that everything was in order and we were ready to pick up our keys. We were very impressed not only at their thoroughness and real estate experience, it was also very reassuring to see them quickly jump in when issues came up. They were quick to action. More importantly, their actions resulted in resolutions. It was truly a pleasure to work with Ruben and Cheryl. We'd certainly give them "two thumbs up". Our neighbor also enjoyed his interactions with them. I can sincerely say that their efforts ensured that both the seller as well as my wife and I had a great transaction. They're a great team and we'd work with them again in the future!

With Pat's help and guidance we had bought a house in San Marcos while thinking we were going to move there from our home in El Centro after I'd sold my hardware stores and thinking to retire at age 82. After we'd spent a few weeks doing a kitchen remodel an other improvements, we decided we weren't ready, so we put the house back on the market. With a market of rising prices and scarce housing availability it ended up in a bidding war which Pat again guided us through successfully, and we recovered our remodel costs as well as a profit and the buyers were happy also!
