BACKGROUND: - We were first-time home buyers in the Bay Area and needed a realtor with an experienced reputation. - We had a lot of questions and were very picky about finding a home; we did not want a house near a graveyard, school, and within earshot distance from a train. Yvette was very accommodating and patient with us in finding a home with these requirements and big-picture questions throughout the process. - We spent a few months touring homes with Yvette until we found one that met our standards and price range. - Yvette and her team helped us understand what was happening every step of the way. - This home purchase and escrow was completed before the National Association of Realtors July 2024 settlement on who pays buyer commissions. QUALITIES: - She had a high level of knowledge of the current housing market and the neighborhood we were interested in. - She frequently sent us great matches for what we were looking for. - She pointed out subtle things that we would have missed but were important for our decision process during home tours. - She was always flexible and available for home tours and phone calls. If she was not available for calls, she was very attentive through text messages. - She was strategic in setting and managing expectations. - She was honest and transparent throughout the entire process. She treated the situation as if she were purchasing the property. - During the processes of the search, bidding, escrow, moving in, and after moving into the home, Yvette was attentive and checked in on us to ensure we were comfortable. My family and I highly recommend Yvette Teng and her exceptional team. Home buying is stressful, but Yvette maintained a calm and confident mindset and kept our anxieties low. Her promptness, positive energy, and knowledge of the market are why we will not hesitate to call Yvette when we are looking to buy again.

She was very quick to respond, extremely patient with difficult seller agents and was also helpful in advising us the home value accurately for the bidding process. She is highly knowledgeable and makes sure that we know all the options in terms of counter offers, contingencies or home inspections. Overall, she made the process stress-free and pleasant for us. Furthermore, she has excellent negotiation skills and made sure that we do not over bid for any property.
