At the time we were looking at a pretty inexpensive house for the area, around $400k, and weren't even sure we were ready to commit to an agent yet. He showed up on short notice, didn't seem to mind that we were still figuring things out, and was happy to help. We ended up not buying that house. In fact, we moved our search north of his normal area and pushed our timeline back by a few months. Through all of that he was supportive, but never pushy. We never felt pressured to move faster than we wanted to. He was also just genuinely enjoyable to spend time with. House hunting can be exhausting, but he got along great with our whole family and somehow made the process fun. What I appreciated most was how straightforward he was. That ended up being a really useful framework throughout our search. We moved into our new home about two weeks ago and absolutely love it so far. Looking back, we're really grateful for all the help along the way. We'd happily work with him again, and I sincerely hope he's still in real estate when it's time for our next move.
