I am greatly pleased with my experience with Sandy and Tom. This wasn’t the first time I sold a property but it was the first time I sold a Trust property. This was my parents’ house of 56 years and both had passed away. I needed to appease the other beneficiaries. Not only did I have the turmoil of cleaning out 56 years of stuff but I was also letting go of my childhood home. We worked with Lilia on the recent purchase of our home. We had been looking in a particular neighborhood for over a year and Lilia was extremely patient with us, constantly reminding us when we felt like the search would never end that you can change a home but you can’t change a home location so help us stay motivated with our search in the area. Lilia went out of her way to befriend the listing agents in the area which resulted in Lilia/us getting notice advance notice of future listings. Lilia would make time to come with us to open houses even when she had jam packed weekends with showings of her own. Throughout the process she was always extremely candid with us about pros and cons of various homes, the purchasing process/finances, and helping us envision the potential of houses. She also advised us on tips and tricks to help get our offers noticed and accepted by sellers, such as not having too picky of terms, writing personalized letters, figuring out what was important to the seller that we could relax on. At all times through the process ,since we looked so for long, she made sure our preapproval and personal documents were always up to date so we could submit an offer at a moments notice. When we finally found the home we were very interested in, she made sure to immediately let the listing agent know we were planning to submit and helped us quickly submit an offer, advising on offer price and terms, and ensured we were aware of any details she learned such as other expected offers or when the seller planned to review offers and have a decision. With the house we purchased, it ended up being through a trust with the rep living out of state so after the inspection she advised us on what type of repairs that the seller would be more willing to do as well as which type of repairs they’d be more willing to give credit on to keep the negotiation process going smoothly to ensure we closed timely. She is truly a knowledgeable and experienced agent!
