Laurie's and her husband's market knowledge and professionalism are the best I have encountered among realtors. I especially appreciated Laurie sitting with us, for as long as it took, to work through key paperwork online that was baffling to us. We knew we could always rely on her for help when we needed it .Communication throughout was well above average too, save for a few unexpected late signings we were asked to do that were surprises to us. But even there these problems may have stemmed from changing state and local regulations, not from Laurie herself.

He helped me successfully acquire this excellent asset, and I am incredibly happy with the purchase. As a broker, Han is exceptionally knowledgeable, firm, and straightforward. What truly brings extra value to the table is his willingness to share his personal resources—he even introduced me to several of the trusted vendors he relies on for his own real estate portfolio. Han is very direct in his dealings, and honestly, that is exactly what you need when buying an apartment complex: a broker with real-world ownership experience who knows how to tackle issues and solve problems efficiently. I firmly believe he is one of the best apartment brokers in the San Gabriel Valley.

We initially listed our apartment building with a residential agent. After several months without any offers, we decided to find a broker that specialized in apartment sales. Funny enough, the residential agent that we fired was the one that suggested Han Widjaja Chen to us. After meeting with Han and signing an exclusive listing with him, he asked us to have the previous broker remove all listings from any website postings to clean our slate. Han also let us know of his experience owning and managing his own apartment portfolio which provided assurance we were in good hands. Weeks after listing the property with Han, several prospective buyers walked through the buildings and units, and shortly after we received multiple all-cash offers from those buyers. Before accepting any of these offers, Han brought another one on the table that was even higher than our asking price. After consulting with him, this was the offer we accepted. In the end, the buyer closed the transaction successfully. Looking back after the process of selling this apartment, we realize it is not as easy as selling a single-family house. Broker selection is crucial, and we found this out the hard way with our property sitting on the market for several months without any results from the previous broker. All of us are happy that Han’s team helped us to successfully sell this apartment. We absolutely will work with Han in the future for any apartment/commercial sales as we think that his team is one of the best in the industry.
