I had my eye on a house in Pasadena though it went into contract. It fell out a few months later and the timing was right so I was ready to pursue it. I needed a realtor. I met Laurie Turner though my daughter Kirsten who has worked with her on some projects. She felt that Laurie and I would connect and she was correct. Right away I felt comfortable with her. This is my first experience buying a home since my husband passed. Laurie put me at ease with her friendly yet professional way. She was wonderful to work with. It was a bit stressful for me because there were multiple offers. In the end I fortunately came out on top. The closing was very quick and she walked me through every step. I appreciate her and the way in which she navigated the sale. On another note, my daughter and family were displaced in the Eaton fire. Their house survived but my daughter's mother in law Irene lost her home. Laurie stepped up and found Irene an apartment at a time when apartments were hard to find. My daughter and family are living in my new Pasadena home until they can get back into their home. It has been a win win on so many levels.
