She is very knowledgeable and has the resources for pretty much everything, from helping you follow tedious instructions for a wiring process to the simplest of steps for transferring your utilities. We had what I would consider a difficult purchase. A lot of issues on the seller’s side & with the seller’s agent along with pressure by the seller to close quickly. Joan was able to connect us with a local surveyor and a closing attorney who were both over the top awesome in their own right and we were able to pull things together on extremely short notice. She went above and beyond with communication, she was always accessible & we were able to get answers by text, email or phone any time we had a question or issue. She is extremely knowledgeable in all things real estate obviously from her years of experience and confidently guided us through the entire process. She was an awesome liaison between the seller who I had lost all patience for. And had it not been for Joan’s hard work, patience & persistence I would have walked away from the sale. Joan has been a local home town realtor for years. As a life long resident of Alachua I’ve seen her name in the realty circle for many years but this was my first experience in having her handle a real estate transaction. I have no hesitation in recommending her or Horizon Realty, you will feel welcome, her casual approach will make you feel like family & she will go above & beyond your expectations to make things happen.

Deena is a complete sweetheart and very easy to work with. That being said she is an absolute workhorse who will stop at nothing to get done what you need of her. From beginning to end, she was thorough, forthcoming, and honest. I absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to purchase in the area.

Deena helped my husband and myself with a corporate move. She worked with us to get our house on the market expeditiously and created a beautiful marketing photo album. Communication at times was difficult as she use voice texts often that were not comprehensible. She worked hard to get the sale over the finish line. We are very disappointed with the final price, but I don’t really believe that’s was in Deena‘s control.

Dan went above and beyond to help sell my home. When I was unavailable to meet a repairman, he went to the house, met him, waited and made sure the work was completed. The house was under contract in under a week and the sale closed within 40 days. He is a nice guy, accommodating and knowledgeable. No question- hire him.
