Forget high-pressure sales from greedy Realtors who list your home for the profit and never show your house. Greedy Realtors get half of what any other Realtor makes selling your home. Bill Gosiak has values, and the ethics you want in a Realtor. Bill had Open Houses on several weekends, knowing we were renting an apartment, so we could show a clean, EMPTY house. The mortgage and the rent set us back almost $4000 a month, so Bill had Open Houses until we sold the property. Bill knows a LOT about building and construction. When we had to make repairs, Bill negotiated with the sellers to make FAIR offers. Without Bill, the sellers would have driven us into poverty with the requests. Also, the ultimate nightmare. The BUILDING INSPECTOR. If Bill did not know the BUILDING CODE in our area, the Inspector could have demanded expensive, unnecessary work, to the tune of thousands of dollars, before we could sell the house. Thank God Bill was on our side. We managed reasonable repairs and negotiated with the Inspector to be satisfied with the work they required us to do. By the way, we spent almost $3000 getting the house ready for sale to begin with. When you sell your home, they exposed you to unnecessary (expensive) headaches from the buyers and the Inspectors. Without Bill Gosiak, we could have waited for half a year or MORE trying to make the Building Inspector/buyers happy. Bill negotiated with the buyers, and the city, and the city inspectors.
