When my father-in-law told us that he wanted to move to Iowa from Wyoming we did not know what to do to make that happen. We called Wayde and he took it from there. He sent us listings and set up appointments to check out houses. He also looked into discounts and tax breaks for Veterans. He advocated for us with the sellers agents and worked with us through the whole process. This letter will serve as our very high letter of recommendation for Real Estate Agent Wayde Burkhardt. He assisted us with the sale of a home in Woodward in 2023. Wayde is friendly, outgoing, and highly conscientious. He has a deep understanding of the central Iowa market after living there his entire life. He directed us on exactly what repairs/changes were needed in order to sell the house for top dollar. He helped us to find qualified contractors and called in more than a few favors to keep it affordable for us. Moreover, he also guided us away from spending money on changes that wouldn’t result in a worthwhile return on our investment. In the process of selling the home, we ran into several major problems regarding the property title. Wayde, with the help of his son Mason (a real estate lawyer) dove in to help us to resolve all of the issues. This led them to tracking down documents on a loan that had been sold and resold six times in the interim. They were able to clear an old lien that had been paid off 20 years earlier but was never properly recorded and removed from the title. The amount of effort they put in to help us was far above what most realtors would do. We are forever in their debt (figuratively) for all that Wayde and Mason have done for us. Throughout the sale process, Wayde has kept us up to date with regular phone calls and texts. If we have a question, we can call him and he always takes the time to explain it with what seems like a limitless amount of patience. He has made the process as easy and painless as possible. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

Wayde helped us get a difficult to purchase property that had some title issues. (We knew about it and wanted the house anyway.) He worked with us every step of the way to get the title clear and get us into our perfect house.
