My wife and I had an excellent experience with Valerie McGillivary (Val). To put it simply, with Val as our agent we found the home of our dreams in one of the toughest housing markets in history! We teamed up with Valerie in March of 2020…and yes, right before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the craziness of the world and the housing market during this time, we placed five offers on very nice houses before an offer was accepted. During this whole process Val was was extremely patient, timely (responded to emails in less then 10 minutes in most cases), and would tell us if she felt a house wasn’t right for us which we really valued. Val is honest, hard working, not pushy, and very personable. After spending over a year and a half in the market (could have been much longer) Val became a great friend and we couldn’t recommend her enough!
